Roger W. Hughes passed from this life June 9, 2021.  He was born September 18, 1978, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Roger was a very loving person.  In his younger days he loved bull riding.  He also loved fishing, hunting, and his dogs.  One of his greatest joys was riding his Harley with his friends that he met through motorcycling.  He loved his family and friends to the end.

Roger was a licensed plumber and a member of Shreveport Pipe Trades Local UA 141.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Carolyn Hughes of Stonewall, LA; his brother Steven Hughes and wife Melissa Hughes of New Albany, OH; and his two nieces Taylor Hughes of Pollock, LA and Emily Hughes of Stonewall, LA.  He loved his two nieces dearly.  He is also survived by his uncle and aunt Carlous and Carline Pelt of Simpson, LA; his aunt Katherine Pearson of Scappoose, OR; uncle and aunt, Norman and Lori Hughes of Redmond, OR; and lots of cousins and friends that were as close as family to him.

A memorial service will be held June 15, 2021 at 11:00am at Bethel Assembly of God, 5801 W. Bert Kouns Shreveport, LA 71129.
