Hotrod was born on July 19, 1962 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Donald E. Collier and Peggy Rascoe Collier. He passed from us on July 19, 2023 (on his birthday) in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Hotrod was a long time resident of Shreveport /Bossier City. He was a lifelong carpenter. He could figure out how to build anything to do with building; any angle in homes, and anything to do with wood. He lived his life the way he wanted to with what he had. He lived a while with his love partner Pam Thrash until they couldn't take care of themselves, but still loved each other and saw each other when they could.

Hotrod was preceded in death by his brother Steven Wayne Collier.

Left to cherish his memory is his love Pam Thrash; father Donald E. Collier and wife Mary; mother Peggy Rascoe Collier Jackson; brothers Scott Collier, Lonny Collier, and Trey Jackson; nephews Cody Collier, Josh Collier; nieces Chelsey Collier Lawrence, Catie Collier Goodnow, and Sarah Jackson; many cousins, family, and friends.

Hotrod will be missed so much by his family and friends but will live on in our heart and minds forever.
