Robert J. Zeigler, Sr., age 58, of Sarepta, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020. He was born on June 28, 1961 in Shreveport to Albert and Lola Wheeler Zeigler. He was a jack of all trades who loved hunting, fishing, wood working, and spending time with family. He worked for Panola Harris Electric Company for many years until he had a heart attack and became disabled.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lola & Albert Zeigler; brothers, Johnny Knight, Ronnie Zeigler, and Thomas Zeigler; father and mother-in-law, William and Alice Woods; sister-in-law, Denise Zeigler; niece, Stephanie Burge; nephew, Clark Davis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debra Woods Zeigler of Sarepta; children, Christie Shipp (Bo) of Nimpo, CA, Sherrie Fox (Scotty) of Freeport, TX, Charles Zeigler of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Zeigler, Jr. of Sarepta, and Joshua Zeigler of Sarepta; grandkids Ashley, Katherine, LoLa, Nicholas, Kannon all of Nimpo, CA, Destiny, Kaleb, and Christopher all of Freeport, TX, Jasmine of Milwaukee, WI, Isabella of Sarepta, Kaely of Florida, Payton of Shongaloo; brother, James Zeigler; many nieces and nephews from all over!

A visitation will be held starting at 6pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Blocker Baptist Church near Sarepta. A funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the church.
