Robert Leon Thomas, Sr. passed away December 2, 2019, at the age of 76 and went to be with Our Lord. Mr. Thomas was a resident of Sibley Louisiana for more than 40 years. He was owner/operator of Salt Works Garage in Sibley until his retirement.  He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Jean Thomas, son Billy Wayne Thomas, father Willie Thomas, mother Dorothy Jones/step-father Herbert Vance Jones, brother Roger Dale Thomas, Sister Doris Cook.

He is survived by six of his seven children: Ricky Thomas and wife, Stacey, Susan Whited, Robert Thomas, Jr, Douglas "Duke" Thomas and wife Cecilia , Sheila Jones and husband, Richard, Roger Vance Thomas, Sr., sister, Dottie Greene and husband, Gary, sister Pamela Cage, 42 grandchildren and great grandchildren, best friends James Blythe and wife, Helen and Sheffie Fabre and wife Betty, numerous relatives and friends.

He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed beyond measures.

Graveside Service to be held at Bistineau Baptist Church Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 3:00 pm.  Visitation with the family immediately following at the family home.
