Robert "Bert" Perkins was a loving father, brother, and friend. He left this physical world on April 22, 2022.

Robert was born on Janurary 5, 1962 in Shreveport, LA . Son of Carl and Annie Mae Perkins. He had a love for the open road as an avid Harley rider. Robert also had a magnificent gift for wood working, leaving behind some beautiful pieces that will pass on for generations to come.

Robert was preceded in death by Carl Perkins; Father, Annie Mae Perkins; Mother, Billy Meek and Mike Perkins; Brothers, Beverly Sue Wilkinson; Sister, and Shirley Ferguson. He is survived by his children Nathan Allan Perkins, Jessica Ray-Anna Perkins, and Chrissy Hill, Brother; Danny Perkins, Sister; Vickie Burks, Nieces; Tiffany Thompson, Savannah Espino, and Christy Boyett, Nephews; Kalin Perkins, Steve and Kevin Wilkinson, many great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, as well as his long time love Vicki Long.

A service will be at 3:30 pm on April 28, 2022 at Aulds Funeral Home at 7849 E. Kings Hwy Shreveport, LA. There will be a burial to follow in Hall Summit, LA at Social Springs Cemetery.
