Robert Edward Morris Sr., known lovingly by family and friends as "Bob," passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 87. A longtime resident of Doyline, Louisiana, Bob lived a life defined by hard work, quiet kindness, and deep devotion to his loved ones.

Born on September 15, 1937, Bob spent his entire career in the automotive repair industry, where his deep knowledge of cars and commitment to honest work earned him the respect of his peers and community. Outside of work, Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing on quiet mornings, sharing stories with friends, and spending cherished time with his family.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Laurie Morris; his grandchildren, Amanda, Jesse, Spencer, and Jamie; and six beloved great-grandchildren. His legacy lives on in each of them—in their laughter, strength, and love for family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus "Vern" Morris and Una Lorene Burks, and his sister, Verna Jean.

Those who knew Bob will remember him as a man of steady character, dry wit, and a warm heart. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to know him.
