Robert Gerald "Bob" MGill passed away Wednesday February 3, 2016. Following a brief and sudden illness. In Shreveport LA.

Robert Was born in Peoria, IL on May 22, 1937. His family moved to San Pedro CA. When he was young, where he lived and went to school. and then graduated from San Pedro High School in 1956. He went to work for General Motors in South Gate CA. Where he worked till he was transferred to Shreveport LA in 1983. And retired after 37 years.

He enlisted in the Marine Reserves and dedicated 30 years. He loved being a Marine.

He met his wife Deanna Mulhair in 1958 in Running Springs, CA They were married for 54 years. He loved nothing more than his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert Leslie and Geraldine Forrest McGill. His Mother in law Madeline Mulhair.

He is survived by his Wife Deanna McGill. His Children Michal Ann McGill, James McGill and David McGill and his girlfriend Serina. Three grandchildren Bobby Jagers, Josh Jagers and Madison McGill. And two great granddaughters Makaylah Jagers and Saige Jagers. His brother Bill McGill and his wife Shirley.

Celebration of Life Services for Robert will be on Monday February 8. At Broadmoor Christian Church 6005 Youree Drive, Shreveport. Visitation at 12:00 and Service at 1:00. Graveside to follow at Centuries Memorial on Mansfield Rd.
