Robert Lynn Guyton of Bossier City, LA passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at the age of 64 years old with the love of his family and friends surrounding him.

Robert was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 18, 1960, to Juanita and Robert Guyton. He graduated from Parkway High School and held various mechanical jobs throughout his career. He owned and operated his own landscaping service for many years, and then went on to work for the City of Bossier in Code Enforcement where he eventually retired.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Danielle Farris, Keisha Kopf (Dustin Fulks), Kayla Kopf, and Taylor Guyton. He also leaves behind his sister, Melody A. Webb (Ronald), six cherished grandchildren—Tyler Weeks, Kaiden Kopf, Shainlynn "Tootie" Hayes, Kynly Kopf, Paityn Welch, and Samuel Welch—and numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Harrell Guyton and Robert Taylor Guyton, as well as his brother, Timothy Wayne Guyton.

Robert's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. He was a loving and witty man that enjoyed bringing smiles to those he met. You could always count on a comical remark coming out when you were in his presence. May his love and laughter bring comfort to those he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Robert's life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., at Auld's Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA, 71115. The family will be presenting a personal tribute during the memorial.

The family requests that any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org for continued remembrance of Robert's father, Robert Taylor Guyton.
