Robert "Bobby G" Gast, age 64, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on December 12, 1954 in Chicago, IL to Carl and Alice Gast. He was a lifelong carpenter who was well loved and will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Lyons; brothers, Carl William Gast, Jr. and Richard Gast.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years Jerrie Gast; children; Joe Leski (Melissa), Robert Gast, Dustin Gast, Ashley Gast, and Cody Gast, siblings, Alan Gast (Jan), Alice Simone, and Dean Gast; five grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Mary Ann Gast and Joyce Gast; numerous nieces.

A memorial service will be held at Aulds Funeral Home at 2pm Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
