Robert Dennis Bryant, age 68, resident of Shreveport Louisiana died at his home January 30th, 2017. He was born January 9th, 1949.  Bob was a professional musician for 52 years and worked as a piano salesman for many years at Shreveport Music.  Bob volunteered for military service and served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1972, stationed in Mainz Germany. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Alton Richard Bryant in 1966; his Mother Lena Mae Byrne in 2010, his step-father John L. Byrne in 2001, and his older brother Lawrence Richard Bryant in 2003.  He is survived by his three younger sisters: Pamela Bryant Forrester of Denton Texas; Deborah Bryant Myers of Taylors South Carolina; and Carol Bryant Hoes of Bedford Texas, and step-brother David Byrne of Eustace Texas. Bob was loved by the musician community of Shreveport-Bossier and his humor, musical skill, kindness, and generosity are known to all who knew him.  Bob was a patient teacher, always generous with compliments and praise. His laughter and his music will be missed by all who loved him.
