Obituary

On April 18, 1982, a baby boy was born to Annie Ruth Coleman and Horace Randle, Jr. He was named Robert D'wayne Coleman.

Robert was raised by his mother during his early years of life. At the age of seven, he began living with his loving grandmother, Willie B. Coleman, who reared him until the age of fourteen. He then moved to Tampa, Florida, where he lived with his father and bonus mom, Cynthia, whom he lovingly called "Mom." Throughout his life, Robert was surrounded by an extended family who loved him unconditionally.

A few years ago, Robert returned to Louisiana and once again made the small town of Lisbon his home. During this time, he reconnected with his sister, Shareka, who supported and assisted him in entering and completing rehabilitation—an accomplishment that made him very proud. Through this journey, a strong bond was formed and meaningful promises were made. To know Robert was to love Robert. He brought smiles to many faces, both known and unknown, and had a natural gift for becoming a friend to all he encountered.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Elder Frankie Williams. After experiencing the world on his own, Robert later repented and once again accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on December 22, 2025. This rededication was witnessed by Assistant Pastor Frankie Harris of the House of God Saints in Christ Pentecostal Church of Tampa, Florida.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved niece, Jai'da Carrie Worthy (Florida); his grandparents, Willie B. Coleman, Annie Coleman, and Greene Coleman (Louisiana); Elder Frankie Williams and First Lady Catherine Williams (Florida); six uncles, James Coleman, Terry Randle, Augusta Randle, Johnny James, Jimmie Randle (Louisiana), and Melchizedek Williams (Florida); one aunt, Kathy Harris (Virginia); and his longtime best friend, George Brooks, also of Florida.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories his birth mother, Annie Coleman (Texas); his father, Horace Randle, Jr.; his mother, Cynthia Randle (Florida); his godmother, Brenda Crumarie (Florida); his godfather, Rodney Williams (Florida); his brother, Brady Coleman (Texas); three sisters, Tiffany Randle (Florida), Aviana Randle (Florida), and Shareka Ford (Louisiana); fifteen nieces and nephews; two great-nieces (Florida, Texas, and Louisiana); his twin, Shaletha Mays (Louisiana); and a host of relatives and friends.
