Celebration of the life honoring Robert "Bob" Draper Bray, 63, will be held on Tuesday, August 17 from 5 until 7pm in the Parlor Room of Broadmoor Baptist Church, Shreveport.

Bob was born on August 9, 1958 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with his heavenly father on August 10, 2021 in Shreveport after complications from COVID-19.  He was born to Howard M. Bray and Bonnie D. Bray.  He was a faithful member of Simple Church of Shreveport and a long-time employee of Wesla Federal Credit Union.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his step mother, Patricia "Beebo" Bray; former spouse and mother of their three children, Kimberly Light Bray; brother William "Bill" Bray and wife Judy; son Tyler Bray and wife Tori, son Taylor Bray and wife Laura, son Thaddeaus Bray and wife Kari; grandchildren Tanner Bray, Tyson Bray, Tripp Bray, Tucker Bray, and Bowen Bray.

Bob was a vital part of Shreveport Dixie Baseball as well as Shreveport Little League and touched many young lives as a baseball coach throughout his lifetime in this area.  He coached all three of his boys through high school and loved watching his grandkids on the ball field.  He considered his family to be his greatest gift.  If Heaven had a "Dad Hall of Fame", Bob would be right up there with the best of them.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Shreveport Dixie Baseball or Shreveport Little League.
