In Loving Memory of Ricky Kilcrease
October 17, 1962 – October 7, 2026
Ricky Kilcrease, age 63, passed away on October 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer that had spread to his liver. A loving father, brother, uncle, and friend, Ricky had a way of making connections with those around him. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Though his battle was difficult, he will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, and the many things that brought him happiness throughout his life.
Ricky graduated from Wossman High School in Monroe, Louisiana, in 1981. Throughout his working years, Ricky was employed by James Standard and RSH.
Ricky was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He had a love for hunting, football, dogs, country music, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed getting behind the wheel of his truck and going for a drive. Whether he was enjoying the outdoors, cheering on his favorite football teams, the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, listening to country music, or simply spending time with those he loved, Ricky found happiness in the little things that made life meaningful. These special moments created memories that his family and friends will cherish forever.
Ricky leaves behind his loving daughter, Kaitlin Sharp, and her husband, Zack Sharp; his sisters, Mary Bogle and Pam Ray; and his brothers, Sidney Kilcrease and Danny Kilcrease.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Ernest Kilcrease; his sister, Paula Kilcrease; and his brother, Dennis Kilcrease.
Though Ricky’s passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on. His family will forever treasure the moments spent together, the laughter they shared, and the memories that will continue to bring comfort in the years ahead.
Ricky will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of his family and friends. Although his time on earth has come to an end, the love and memories he leaves behind will remain forever.
