It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Tagle, who entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2024 at the age of 62. Born on July 24, 1961 in GuaGua, Pampanga, Richard spent a portion of his childhood in the Philippines. Being one of six Air Force brats, once in the United States Richard made a few stops in other states before the family located to Bossier City in 1975. He attended Elm Grove Junior High and Parkway High School.

After high school, Richard enlisted in the Army and spent a short time in Georgia before being Honorably Discharged. After which he joined the Job Corp and spent a few years in Oregon before returning to Bossier City for a number of years. Richard spent the majority of his adult life in Omaha, Neb where he worked mostly in Production and Manufacturing Plants.

Richard had a passion for tennis. You could find him on the tennis court most late afternoons a number of days of the week.  If he wasn't playing tennis, he was watching it on the tv every other minute of the day. Richard would light up with pride though when talking about his son, Tyler and family.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother Antonia T. Aitken, father Robert Aitken Sr, and nephew Jeremy Tagle.

He is survived by his son Tyler Tagle (wife Brittany), grandchildren Tien (14), Tarynn (11), Tayven (6) and Thayn (4 months), brother Ernesto Tagle, sister Judy Williams (husband Jay), brother Robert Aitken Jr. (wife Lana), Sister Maggie Glass (husband Philip), brother James Aitken (wife Cathy) along with a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00am, at 9845 Pleasant Hills Dr, Shreveport, La 71106, with reception to follow.
