Richard Manuel Rise Sr. ( Rich) was born in Hattiesburg Mississippi .  He later moved to Lima Ohio where he graduated Elida High School.  Rich also attended and graduated college at The Ohio State University where he was very proud to have played football.  "GO BUCKS"

His work career was in Construction Equipment and Crane Business. He was a Vice President of Nortrax (a John Deere Construction Equipment Company) which was later sold to Doggett Machinery and is where he worked until retirement. He also served on the Board of Directors for Louisiana Asphalt Paving Association and National Asphalt Paving Association.

Rich is survived by his wife Connie, daughters Taylor Rise, Kristin Dudley, Brooke Colgrove and husband Trey. Son Brett Rise of Charlotte NC. Sisters Kathy Hunnaman of Lima OH, Susan Graymire and husband Gary of Phoenix AZ. Granddaughters Aubree Colgrove, Adalyn Golgrove, Kamryn Verdin and Gracie Rae Rosado. Grandsons Jesse Rise and wife Stacey of Prattville AL. Edward Rise of Baltimore MA. Niece Renae Graymire Hardy, and nephew Luke Hunnaman and wife Gina of Amanda OH.

Preceded in death by his parents Manuel Rise and Yvonne Rise, son Richard Manuel Rise Jr (Richie), and brother in law Rick Hunnaman.

Rich loved his family and friends with ALL he had. He loved to travel, golf, & LSU Football "Geaux Tigers" He will be greatly missed but we will not say goodbye… Just  "Till We Meet Again!"
