Richard (Ricky) Henry Rollins, 59, of Shreveport, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, after a month-long battle with COVID.

Ricky was born on October 16, 1961, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Doris Ann and Jerry Lynn Rollins. He is preceded in death by both his mother, Doris, and his father, Jerry Rollins.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Mary Rollins, His daughters; Shannon Clemons and husband Wade, Kimberly Barnett, and husband Paul, Kelly Anderson and Fiancé Justin. His son, Chris Anderson and wife Megan, Brothers; Rusty Rollins, Jerry D. Rollins and wife Terri, and a sister, Cindy Morris and husband Dale, He is also survived by Cousin, Georgetta Fagan, who was more like a sister.  Ricky loved and was so proud of his grandchildren, Maddison, Haylee, Logan, David, Richard, Lane (Turkey), Camdyn and Cole.

Ricky enjoyed anything to do with fishing and family. Through his passion of fishing, many friendships were founded and, those friends also became family. If you knew him, you had a friend for life who, could be called upon at anytime there was a need.

The family would like to invite anyone who knew Ricky to join them in a visitation fellowship at Aulds Funeral Home, on E. King's Highway, on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 3pm-6pm. After, Ricky will be cremated. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the Willis Knighton South ICU doctors and nurses for doing all that was possible to care for our father, husband, and friend. Nurse Sabrina will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will always be a part of the Rollins family.
