Richard "Dick" Branch, Jr., 74, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on June 2, 1944 in Madisonville, Louisiana. After graduating Fair Park High School in 1962, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves. He worked for Beaird-Poulan Industries for twenty years.

Richard was preceded in death by his step-father Arthur Nanas and grandparents William Russell Fowler and Myrtle Fowler.

He is survived by his mother Earnestine Nanas; wife Virginia Branch; children, Richard "Richie" Branch, Karen Branch Kent and husband Roger, Linda Ahner and husband Gary, and Ronnie Davis; grandchildren, Kayla Henderson and Ian Kent; great grandchild, Kaden Washington.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Aime Hospice, Lifepath Hospice, and staff at Heritage Manor West. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Aulds Funeral Home at 11am. A graveside service will be held later at 1pm, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Forest Park East Cemetery in Shreveport.
