Rhonda Lea Arndt , 62, passed away peacefully in Shreveport , La . She was surrounded by her loved ones following an illness, stepping into the joyous presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on October 12, 1963, in Escondido, California , Rhonda lived a life marked by deep faith, generosity , and a passion for helping others. A full-hearted Christian , Rhonda was never shy about sharing the gospel; her enthusiasm for God was unmistakable , and her eyes would light up whenever she spoke of her faith . Driven by her love for the Word , she dedicated many years to building her faith through online Christian schooling .
Rhonda was a woman of many creative gifts and joyful passions. She loved to sing, pray, dance, and cook for those around her, bringing warmth to every room she entered. Her true artistic calling, however, was in her writing. Rhonda had a special heart for writing donation poems to bless others and support causes close to her heart. Her literary talent was officially recognized in 2013 when she was nominated as the Best Poem Writer in Redding, California—a milestone achievement that brought her and her family great joy. Above all, Rhonda will be remembered as a warm-hearted, deeply giving person who would gladly step up to help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her mother, LaVonne Arndt. Rhonda's memory will be forever cherished by her loving family: her daughter, Monica Perez; her son, Ceaser Nunez; her beloved granddaughters, Danielle and Miranda ; her father, James Arndt; her brothers, Troy Arndt, Tyrone Arndt, and Vincent Arndt; her sister, DeAnn Clark; and her cherished cat, Sissy, who now resides in the loving care of her sister, DeAnn. A celebration of Rhonda’s life and faith will be held by her family. In honoring her memory, her family encourages everyone to live with the same giving spirit, warm heart, and joyful faith that Rhonda carried every day.
