Memorial services for Renee Linfield will be held at 1:00p Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 E. Kings Hwy. Services will be conducted by Rev. Roy Garcia of Warriors for Christ Full Gospel Church.

Renee was born to Blondell Kilpatrick Linfield and William Linfield on September 17, 1948, in Shreveport, LA and died on September 28, 2019, after a lengthy illness.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Fred Woodworth, MD.

She is survived by her son Walter Jones, III, her brother William Linfield IV, his wife Bettye, and their two daughters, Kristin Cameron and Amanda Linfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

Renee spent most of her married life in the Baton Rouge area before returning to Shreveport after Fred's death.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flowers, decorating, old home tours and Dancing with the Stars.  She was born with a glorious head of thick red hair which remained beautiful to the end.

We who loved her will miss this dear mother, sister and friend who had an unselfish heart, a humble disposition with a kind, loving demeanor.  She is at peace now--no more suffering or pain.  She's earned her heavenly wings.
