Reita Ann Anderson, 79, of Shreveport, sadly passed away on March 30 ^th after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Reita was born in Bloomington, Indiana on October 29, 1943. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. Reita had the heart of a saint. She helped others in need and loved everyone unconditionally. Reita loved dancing and spending time with her family.  She was very loved and will be missed terribly.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest Robertson and Maxine Morgan; her brother Robert Morgan Jr.; her sisters, Gloria Jean and Judy Griffin; her daughter Becky Wine; great-granddaughter Violet; and her beloved husband William Anderson.

Reita is survived by her son Charles Starr, Jr.; her daughter Dawn Allen and husband Danny Allen; her step-daughter Shannon Anderson; sister Mary Trueblood; brother Mike Morgan; step-father Robert Morgan; grandchildren Matthew, Andrew and wife Jennifer, Sarah, Mackenzie and fiancé Brice, Madison, Heather and partner Hailey, Chris and wife Samantha, and Ciara; her great-grandchildren Evan, William, Aubrey, Camden, Magnolia, Wesley, Genevieve, Penelope, Josephine, Carter, and Hadlee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation services are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.

To honor the wishes of our mother, we will be forgoing a memorial service and have a family celebration of her life which will take place at a later date. We want to thank the doctors and nurses at Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital in Shreveport for their attention and treatment of our mom during this time.
