Becky grew up in Rocky Branch and graduated from Farmerville High School in 1964. After graduation, she obtained a bachelor's degree in business from Northeast Louisiana State College in Monroe (now ULM). After graduating, she enlisted in the United States Marine
Corps, where she rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before transferring to the Army
Reserves. She went on to earn a master's degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and later pursued a Ph.D. in Psychology at Texas A&M University. Becky thoroughly enjoyed her private practice. At age 79, she continued to see patients as well as perform evaluations for the Medicaid Program. It must be said that she could not have maintained such a schedule without the invaluable support of her multi-talented office manager, Helen King, whose dedication and friendship meant so much to her.
Becky was an avid reader, enjoyed family gatherings, and attending broadway performances at the Strand Theater.

Becky had a giving heart. She was a contributor to 20 different animal and wilderness organizations, and six other charities that were important to her. In lieu of flowers, please donate to any charity organization or church of your choice.
