Rebecca Ruth Wright Morgan, 58, of Sarepta, Louisiana, entered into her eternal rest on September 12, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was born on July 10, 1967, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late Harry and Linda Wright.

Rebecca is survived by her devoted husband, Gary W. Morgan of Sarepta, Louisiana; her sister, Margaret Wright of Bossier City, La; and her stepchildren: Danyale (Jesse) Greer of Sarepta, Louisiana; Chelsea (Clay) Ray of Minden, Louisiana; Darcy Stewart of Sarepta, Louisiana; and Allie (Justin) Ballard of Bossier City, Louisiana. She was a proud and loving step-grandmother to Parker Stewart, Ryland Greer, Sawyer Stewart, June Ray, Barrett Ray, and Joslyn Ray.

Rebecca spent her career serving others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings with skill, patience, and compassion. Her heart for service extended far beyond her profession. She was a faithful worker at the Arklatex Christian Encampment, where her presence became synonymous with camp itself. Whether serving as a cook, cleaner, nurse, counselor, lifeguard, event director, or simply a helper, Rebecca gave of herself fully. Her big smile, joyful spirit, and constant willingness to serve will be deeply missed by campers and fellow workers alike. She loved her God, His people, and was a steadfast supporter of the Lord's church and the work of the kingdom.

Rebecca's life was a reflection of her faith in Jesus Christ, and she will be remembered for the way she shared His love with everyone she met. Those who knew her will remember her warmth, kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the example she set and the lives she touched will continue to shine brightly.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Sarepta Church of Christ, 24961 Highway 371, Sarepta, Louisiana 71071.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arklatex Christian Encampment, 1608 Captain Shreve Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71105, an organization dear to Rebecca's heart.
