Rebecca Ann Wroten Gerardy of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away March 9, 2016 at the age of 64 under the loving care of the physicians and staff of the Oaks of Louisiana.   A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 3:00 at Noel United Methodist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. Becky was born August 3,

1951 in Monroe, Louisiana. Af- ter high school she attended Centenary of College of Louisi-

ana, where she was the accompanist for the Centenary College Choir. As a phenomenal accompanist and musician, Becky was called upon to share her talents throughout the Shreveport Boss- ier area, and beyond. Shreveport Bossier Choral Ensemble, Noel United Methodist Church, First Methodist Church, Shreveport Little Theater, Byrd High School Drama Department, Performing Arts Center, Peter Pan Players, Eastbank Theater, Marjorie Lyons Theater, Caddo and Bossier school choirs, and so many other or- ganizations too numerous to name were all such an integral part of her life. She truly enjoyed playing and encouraged everyone she came across. Becky was also an avid fan and supporter of the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team, and a diehard fan of Nascar's Tony Stewart.

Becky was preceded in death by her father Roy Rabun Wroten, and her mother, Marjorie Jane Shea Wroten, of Rayville, Louisiana. She is survived by her three children, daughter Lori, and sons Scott and Shea of Shreveport Bossier, as well as by many relatives and friends.

Becky's family extends our most sincere gratitude to the staff of the Oaks of Louisiana for making sure that our mom had the best care imaginable. To the numerous friends and relatives who have helped during this time, the warmest graciousness is extended as well. They all helped her cope with her illnesses with true grace.
