“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

It is with great sadness, yet with humble acceptance of God’s Will, that the family of Rebecca Erin Pinder announces her passing on April 19, 2026, at the age of 42. “Becka” (as she was affectionately called) was born on April 4, 1984 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents Dennis (Denny) and Melba Pinder.

Becka finally succumbed to the ravages of Adenocarcinoma (Ovarian Cancer) all the while being selflessly cared for by her loving mother and devoted sister Lana. Unfortunately, this is the second loss this family has recently suffered. Becka’s older sister Amanda Leigh (Mandy) Pinder passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 47 from Glioblastoma (brain cancer).

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, daughter Madelyn Rose (“Maddie”), sister Lana and brother Scotty, and numerous nieces and nephews.

“Oh that I had the wings like a dove! For then I would fly away and be at rest.” (Psalms 55:6)

Now you, beloved Becka, have indeed flown away into the everlasting arms of a loving Savior, and are truly at rest!
