Shreveport – Raymond T. Thompson (aka Tater), 53, passed away after a long illness, June 18, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. He was born to Paul H. Thompson Jr. and Louellen Sue Thompson on May 21, 1968 in Shreveport, La. Ray retired from the Louisiana Army National Guard. Ray loved his Lord, his country, family and friends.

Ray is survived by his parents, his wife, Jennifer Thompson and sons Nicholas R. Thompson, Nathan A. Thompson and Nolan M. Thompson, brother, Richard A. Thompson and wife Tina Thompson, nephews Hunter and Brock Thompson of Keithville, La, and granddaughter Luna Lee Thompson. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends that loved and supported him throughout his life.

He was a wonderful son, father, husband, brother, and friend. He will be missed by many. Ray will be laid to rest at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, La.  Date and time will be announced.
