Raymond Holden was born on March 2, 1944 in Winnfield, LA to the late Clara and Frank Holden. He leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years, Trudell; 1 son: Raymond, Jr. (Shurandia) Holden, 1 daughter:  Monica (Lee) Brown. 4 grandchildren: Marissa (Jeff) Allen, Christany Raymond, Yasmine Brown and Donte' Brown, 3 great-grand children: Joy Allen, Jeffery Allen, Jr. and E'rek Hambrick, Jr.  3 brothers: Bruce Holden, Renee Holden,  and Robert Holden: 1 sister: Theo Lee Holden and host of nieces and nephews.

Raymond is preceeded in death by 2 sisters: Nelva Davenport and Deloise Holden and 5 brothers: Clarence Holden, Terry Holden, Spencer Holden, Jimmy Holden and David Holden
