Randy S. Murphy, 58, of Shreveport, LA, passed away peacefully at home Monday, August 14, 2023, after a courageous two and a half year battle with esophageal cancer.

Randy was born in New Orleans, LA, graduated high school from Trinity Heights, and was a US Marine Corps Veteran. He worked as a Quality Control Concrete Technician at Builders Supply Co. Inc., where he was a devoted and loyal employee for over 30 years.

He was married to Melanie, the love of his life, for 27 years. He had a quiet disposition, loved just being at home, and enjoyed going fishing with Melanie.

He was a great man and will be dearly missed by all who loved him and will never be forgotten.
