Pearlie B. Tant, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 14, 1929 to Luther and Flossie Kellems Whitt in Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Tant; parents Luther and Flossie Whitt; son, James C. Tant, II, and one brother Alton Whitt.

She is survived by a son, Clarence Gary Butler; granddaughter Brandie & Romerelo "Bubba" Guerra, Jr.; grandson Jacob James Tant & wife Brittany; great-grandchildren, Halie Harris and husband Chris, Hannah Mawhorr & husband Zachary, Madison Guerra, Ayden Tant, Grayson Tant, and one baby girl on the way; two great-great-grandchildren, Presleigh Harris and Jaxon Mawhorr.

Funeral services for Pearlie will be held at 1pm Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held prior at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Haughton, LA. The family would like to send a special thank you to her caregivers during the last few months; Lisa Bourque, Rosi Baker, and Roger Gunderson. You have been a blessing to us all.
