Pauline Clark Holley, age 85, of Shreveport, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Born on July 23, 1941, Pauline was the daughter of John Floyd Clark and Izella Keith Clark. Throughout her 85 years, she was known for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and love for her family, friends, and the beauty of the earth.

Pauline had a passion for horticulture. This almost feels like an understatement. If anyone had a green thumb, it was her. She found great joy in planting, nurturing, and watching things grow, and she could often be found tending her flower beds and propagating plants. In addition to her love for tending to her flower beds, she loved sewing. Over the years, she created many quilts that were passed along to loved ones.

She is survived by the following individuals:

• Her siblings:Joyce Foshee, Aaron Clark, and Earl Clark
• She leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by the following individuals:

• Her mother and father: John F. Clark and Izella Clark
• Her siblings: Arthur Clark, John M. Clark, Hazel Cullars, Grace Stone, Marie McComb, and Tressie Bell Bamburg
• Herchildren: Barney Clarkand stepson William Holley, Jr. (Billy)

A gathering will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 2 to 5 pm at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.

Because she loved flowers in life, we are asking that you have flowers delivered to Aulds for the gathering (including house or potted plants you can take with you after the gathering) or make a donation in her name to the American Rose Center in Shreveport, LA.
