Paula Marie Forrest was born to the late Vernon C. "Smiley" Forrest and Mary C. O'Con Forrest on September 29, 1960 in Shreveport, Louisiana where she lived out her life on Ranch Lane. She was the third of three daughters. She was preceded in death by her oldest sister Connie L. Forrest and her memory lives on in her middle sister Julie A. Carlisle.

Paula was a loving mother and an adoring grandmother with a true passion for music. She loved to play piano and guitar, and was blessed with a talent for both. She had a kind and caring spirit who was a joy to be around. She was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in or call it how she saw it. She was easy to talk to and could make anyone feel comfortable and right at home. She most enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends making good times. Most importantly, she was a devout Catholic who loved the Lord with all her heart.

Paula went to play music with the angels for the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Christus Schumpert in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Lord blessed her with a peaceful, painless end.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her only son, Randy L. "Scotty" Scott…..
