Obituary

Paul Titus Jeane, Jr. fell asleep in the Lord on the 29th of October 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was 72 years old.

The son of Paul Titus Jeane, Sr. and Retha Marie Arnold, he was born in Kingsville, TX on March 22nd, 1952.  As a young man, he became an accomplished horseman, training and showing a pretty little quarter horse mare named Princess, who came from some of the finest stock South Texas had to offer.  He was raised in the Christian faith by his parents and was very active in the life of the church from a young age, serving the Lord and his church community as a talented musician and singer.

Paul met the love of his life, Connie Louise Allen, at Texas Pentecostal Youth Camp, at the ripe old age of 12.  Six short years later, Connie Allen became Connie Jeane, and they shared a wonderful 54 years of marriage together.

Paul & Connie served the Lord together as church musicians for many years, and the musical gifts God blessed him with were a blessing to the lives of many.

Paul worked for many years in the oil & gas industry as a landman and service broker and was known for his honesty and excellence in the quality of his work.  In later years he loved to cook for others, and spared no expense of time, energy or money in showing hospitality, especially to those in need.  He was a generous giver of his time, talent and treasure.  He was always ready with an encouraging word for those in difficult circumstances.  He was a pillar of unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.  He was a selfless and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and he will be deeply missed until we meet him again in the life of the Age to come.

Paul was preceded to heaven by his father & mother, aunts & uncles and many beloved friends.

He is survived by his wife Connie Jeane of Stonewall, Louisiana; his son Jereme Jeane & daughter-in-law Jill Jeane, and two beloved granddaughters, Julia & Jaymes Ivy, all of Shreveport, Louisiana; as well as his sister Betty Gallagher & brother-in-law Rick Gallagher of Red River, New Mexico, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
