Patsy Nelson Wheeler, 68 of Benton, LA died unexpectedly of an aortic rupture June 21, 2017. Services will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 1pm at the Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, LA. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 11:00am.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Velda and Linda, and her husband, Lonnie Wheeler, and is survived by her children, Tim, Melissa and Sonya, and grandchildren Morgan, Blake, Caleb, Zoe and Nathaniel.

She was born Aug 8, 1948 in Vivian, LA the 4th of 9 kids and was raised with a deep love of family. She adored her children and grandchildren and loved cooking for the whole family. She was an avid gardener and loved fishing and camping. Patsy will be missed by her loved ones and everyone who had the privilege to know her.
