Patrick Christopher Carter was born on October 2, 1966, in Gilliam, Louisiana to Mattie Carter (Mother), with the aid of his grandparents Rena and Charlie Gay.
He accepted Christ as the head of his life at an early age. He was a member of the Little Canaan Missionary Baptist Church of Belcher, Louisiana for fifteen plus years, where he serviced as a dedicated, faithful, and loyal officer (deacon).
Patrick was united in Holy Matrimony April 14, 2000 to LaShanda Williams. To this union came four children; Christopher Carter Jr, Tyrell Carter, DeMorie Williams, and Isaiah Carter.
Big "P" worked on Barksdale AFB, through a company called "Hunters". He retired after 21 years of service. He also owned his own business called, "Patrick Carter Heating and A/C LLC".
He loved the Lord, his wife and family, fellowship with his brethren, church, cookouts (BBQ), fishing, hunting, and was always willing to lend a hand to all-with a smile. He was better known as the Heating and A/C man.
He departed this earthly life for eternal rest and everlasting life on September 3, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mattie Mae Carter; son DeMorie Williams; grandparents Rena and Charlie Gay; three uncles and aunts, cousins, and other relatives.
He leaves a legacy to cherish his memory; loving wife LaShanda Williams Carter; three sons; Christopher, Tyrell, and Isaiah Carter; two grandchildren Tyrell Jr, and Javarsai Carter of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, Aaron Carter of Belcher, Louisiana; sister, April Carter of Shreveport, Louisiana; sister-in-law; brother-in-law. Also surviving are a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, other relatives both far and near, and most of all his church family.
