Patricia C. McElroy Wroblewski

Patricia, age 81, passed away on the night of March 18, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on July 7, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Bill and Elizabeth McElroy. She moved to Shreveport in the 1970's where she resided until her passing.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill, Bob, Chuck, Jack, Joan, and Marge; and her parents, Bill and Elizabeth.

Patricia enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and her pets, watching her Chicago Cubs play and finally seeing them win a World Series in 2016. She loved going to bingo, where she made many friends over the years.

Her faith and trust in the Lord was always evident and grew even stronger with the guidance and love from Peggy Green, Minister of Care at St. John Berchman's Cathedral.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Angela Best, son in law Terry Best, granddaughters Meagan and Mindy Best; her son Michael Wroblewski, daughter in law Krissy Wroblewski, grandson Brent Wroblewski (and wife Meagan), and many extended family and friends from Chicago and Shreveport who loved her dearly.

A visitation will be held for her on March 25, 2021 at 9:00 am at St. Michael's Chapel at St. John Berchman's Cathedral in Shreveport, with a Mass service that follows at 10:00 am.

Patricia loved and cared for all of her family and friends. She was such a caring, loving, and selfless person. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
