Our mom, Patricia Lee Patterson-Hubbard,  was born March 27, 1941 to our grandparents Roy and Susan Patterson in Rockford, Il. Patricia Hubbard transitioned to be with the most high on August 10, 2017 at the age of 76.  Mom gave birth to seven beautiful children: Kenneth Hubbard, David Hubbard, Susan Hubbard, Hayward Hubbard, Jr.,  John Hubbard, Carlos Hubbard and Mark Boykins. The way our mother raised us shows nothing less than the fact she was a strong black woman, and she did an amazing job as our mother, and we will be forever grateful and blessed because of her. Mom was a well educated, ambitious black woman who traveled the world extensively to learn and give back to her community. Mom received her bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Saint Edwards University and her Master's of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. Our mother was an excellent and loving grandmother to Victor Hubbard, Milaka Hubbard, Mini Taylor, Patricia Hubbard, Patrice Bell, Isaiah Hubbard, Hayward Hubbard III, De'Sean Watson, Carlos Hubbard Jr., Carmeisa Hubbard, Anisha Hubbard, Reese Maxy, Matthew Pulley, Misty Wampler, Dominic Jermeay, Dana Grimes. There isn't a thing in the world she wouldn't do for them. Our mother was such a caring person to so many of our friends , and to so many of our children's friends, that it is evident she is also the mother and grandmother to so many more.  Lastly and most importantly, Mom loved the Lord. She IS a strong believer in Christ, and has acknowledged the sacrifices He has done for her and her family. Mom allowed Christ to have His spirit flow through her and be the wonderful person she was to all of us. Her being with him, the most high God, gives us great comfort and peace. This is God's glory and until we see her again we will continue to give him all of the praises.

Patricia Lee Patterson-Hubbard celebration of life, and dedication of garden, will be held at the family home.  9218 Lindsay Rd, Mooringsport, LA 71060 September 9, 2017 at 3:00pm.
