Patricia was the firstborn daughter to Merrell Judson Camp and Maggie Grace Frye Camp and was born at home in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana on October 24 th , 1930. She was a graduate of Harris High School and played on the girls' basketball team. Her first job was with Claiborne Electric Cooperative and later she worked for First National Bank. She married Danny Roy Moore in 1952, and the family lived in Homer, Louisiana, building a home on Lake Claiborne around 1967. Patricia was a woman of Faith, a great homemaker and cook, gardener and artist, lover of nature, God's Creation, and all things beautiful. She studied art at Louisiana Tech University. After her divorce in 1976, she worked for a few years at Ruston state school, using her art skills to motivate and prepare students for classroom participation. She later built a home in West Monroe, where she was able to work in her favorite job as a traveling art teacher for the Monroe Schools, also working in Art Camp and Art enrichment programs in the Monroe area. Mom recalled with enjoyment that the students were always so happy at her arrival, calling her "Miss Art". One of her greatest joys was being with her children and their families and caring for and spending time with her grandson Gilbert Moore whenever she could as he was growing up. Patricia retired around 1995 from E. A. Conway Hospital in Monroe, moving to Bossier around 2001. After this, Patricia did some substitute teaching and in retirement, taught children's art lessons at her home in Bossier City. She was a member of Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Bossier Arts Council and facilitated a yearly student art exhibit at Bossier Parish Library.
