Memorial service for Pamela Phillips will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1pm at First Baptist Church in Sibley with Rev. Jack Albritton officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 11am for lunch until service time on Saturday.
Pamela was born on August 8, 1946 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was called home August 30, 2019 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She was a member of Sibley First Baptist Church and Baptist Tabernacle of Sibley. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and Christian. Pamela loved to Bird watch, butterflies, nature, fishing, reading her Bible, and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Phillips; parents Betty Morris and William H. Albritton; brothers Sterling and William H. Albritton III; sister, Brenda Albritton; Son, Sam B. Phillips; Daughter, Ruth Gusman; and great-grandson, Samuel Noah Phillips.
She is survived by her brother Rev. Jack Albritton and wife Jane of Mississippi, Children William Robert and wife Diane of Sibley, James R Phillips II of Sibley, Alice Lope and husband Steven of Colorado, Heather Ryan and husband Kenny of Ringgold, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family would like to thank Riverview Care Center, Promise Hospital, Fresenius Dialysis Unit and all Willis-Knighton staff for the care received.
