Orlanda (Linda) Maria Harmon, age 89, was born on September 29, 1935, in Dinkelsbuhl, Germany, to Max and Anna Goecking, and she passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2025.   The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death.

Olanda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Everette, and grandson, Patrick Shoalmire.

Orlanda is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Shoalmire and husband, Richard and Charlotte Goodman and husband, Rusty.

She will be forever cherished and remembered by her four grandchildren, Brandie and husband,Darrell, Jon and wife, Jessica, Chris and wife, Lindsay, and Chad, and nine great grandchildren, Cristyn and husband, Andrew, Caden, Seth, Landon, Gunner, Jagger, Jamison, Bailee and Axton, and one great- great grandchild, Lincoln, along with nieces, nephews and friends.

Orlanda was a longtime faithful member of Summer Grove Baptist Church where she loved to worship her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She loved to travel to see the mountains and drink coffee with friends.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

A special thank you to her Physical Therapist, Suzanne and her staff, and to the Fireman and Doctors, all who treated her with care.

A memorial will be held on Thursday July 17th at 11:00 at Summer Grove Baptist Church, 8924 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71118, in the modern venue.
