Neils Joseph "JoJo" Burroughs passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024 at the age of 74.  JoJo was born on December 24, 1949 in Shreveport, LA.

JoJo is survived by his wife, Cynthia "Cyndie" Basco Burroughs, son, Joshua "Josh" Burroughs, sister, Patricia "Pat" Trotter (Jon), stepdaughters, Michelle Higdon (Chris), Sissy McClain (Mac) and Jamie Basco (Cliff), sister in law Cathy Burroughs and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Burroughs, mother, Maxine Foster, stepfather, Joe Foster, brothers, Edward "Eddie", Charles "Charlie", and Richard Burroughs, sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Marley and daughter Kelley Hair.

JoJo's family would like to express deepest gratitude and thanks to the staff at The Gables at Spring Lake Assisted Living and The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice for ensuring his last months here on Earth were comforting and peaceful. A thanks also to the parishioners of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Stonewall for their kindness and support, it is very appreciated.
