Morris Elvin Carter, Jr. was born on October 1, 1944 in Shreveport, LA to Morris E. Carter, Sr.

and Adella Carter. Morris passed on January 10, 2023 in Vivian, LA at the age of 78. Morris and

Mary, his wife of 37 years, resided together in Gray, Tx. Morris retired from the Navy as an

aviator after 20 years of service. Morris enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, fishing and

hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Morris was a jack of all

trades and had a great sense of humor. He loved taking his boat out on Caddo Lake. Morris was

deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Morris was preceded in death by his father, Morris, Sr.; mother, Adella; sister, Kat; grandsons,

Casey and Levi.

Morris is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Morris E. Carter III (Moose); daughters- Lisa, Misty,

Nicole; grandchildren- Jesse, Ryan, Shane, Taylor, Jordyn, Meagan, Courtney, Cody, Macy, Colt;

and great-grandchildren- Alissa and Aliya.

A memorial service will be held on 02/25/2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gray Potter's Point Community Center.
