Shreveport, La. – Mrs. Molly Walston Wilkinson, beloved wife and mother, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday ,September 3, 2016.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2016 with services to follow at 2:00 pm on September 7, 2016 at Auld's Funeral Home, Shreveport. Graveside services will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave.

Father Bill Bryant will officiate and a reception will follow at The Glen Retirement Village, on 403 E. Flournoy-Lucas Rd. in the Bistro room.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born in DeQueen, Arkansas and was a resident of Shreveport, La. for over 80 years. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Walston; father Joe Walston and sister Jorene Dupuy. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Roger Wilkinson; daughter Amy Pollard and husband Wiley; son Steve Wilkinson and wife Marcia; and daughter Patti Gossein and husband Alain.

She is also survived by grandchildren Christy Watts and husband Mark; Lane Wilkinson and wife Khristy, Zack Wilkinson and wife Shannon and John Wilkinson; Michelle Gossein ; Daniel Gossein and wife Sasha, as well as great grandchildren Caleb, Grace and Noah Watts; Liam and Eliot Wilkinson and Kennedy Gossein; her neice Lynne Foster and family along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

Molly was a loving and generous wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

After a successful professional career, she enjoyed traveling the world, reading, gardening, painting, a good joke and enjoying sunsets with Roger from their backyard pergola.

The family would like to thank her wonderful neighbors, Raul and Damelys Casas and the staff of The Glen for their care and support.
