Shreveport,LA- Mildred Yvonne Rogers, age 88, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at a local hospital. She was born on August 9, 1928 in Castor, Louisiana to William F. and Eva Dell Bates Smith. She was retired from AT&T, beloved homemaker, loved to fish, and was a huge football fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnny Cecil Rogers, son Johnny Carl Rogers, and five brothers.

She is survived by her children, Carol Stegall (Hurshiell), Roger K. Rogers, Kayla Nealy (Kenneth), and Keith Rogers (Teresa); grandchildren, Shane, Dana, Douglas, Christopher, Rachel, Zachary, Bradley, Kevin, April, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Austin, Gracie, Colton, Lydia, Aubrey, Blayden, Trent, and Catherine; four brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Dunn officiating, and interment to follow at the Old Castor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
