Mike Kennedy, 75, of Louisiana, was born August 16, 1950, in Ruston, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully February 13, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delmer Kennedy; his mother, June Marie Tibbits; his stepfather, Jack Tibbits; his sister, Teri McDonald; and his brother, Jackie Tibbits.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Lori Rand Kennedy; his sons, Michael Jr. (Brandi) and Jeremy (Kristen); and his treasured grandchildren, Michaelann, Landri, Ethan, Jackson, and Jacob, all of whom he loved very much.

Mike was known as the family’s “armchair referee” and enjoyed anything sports-related, especially Mudbugs hockey, LSU sports, and New Orleans Saints football. He was an avid reader who loved to travel, spend time at the lake, go boating, and grill for family and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Riverview Nursing Home and Pathways Hospice for their compassionate care.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Services will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 at 11am at Aulds Funeral Home located at 7849 E. King’s Hwy in Shreveport, LA.
