Michael "Mike" Scott Riley passed from this Earth on December 10, 2023, after a long battle with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Mike was born on January 21, 1965, in Huntington, NY to William Washington Riley and Elizabeth Ann Erickson Riley. Mike graduated in 1983 and immediately joined the United States Army where he served for 10 years.

Mike and his wife Debbie were married for 33 years and together for 36 years, they had two loving children Jessica and William. He was a loving and hardworking husband and father. Mike was always involved with his children in any activity they had one of those activities included being an assistance scout leader with troop 75. Mike was known for his humorous jokes and his way with words. Anybody who knew him knew his kind, helpful heart. He was always willing to help those he loved.

Mike is preceded in death by both his parents William Washington Riley and Elizabeth Ann Erickson Riley. His mother-in-law Amy Marie Mayeux Masters and Uncle Samuel Joseph Mayeux Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Deborah "Debbie" Riley, his daughter Jessica "Jessie" Hensley and husband Cody. Son William "Billy" Riley and wife Leanna. His grandchildren Samuel Riley, Joseph Riley and Ezra Hensley. His sisters Kimberly Roberts and husband Frank, Terri Potenzone and husband Tony. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a countless number of friends.

The Celebration of Life for Mike will be held on January 6, 2024, at the Retired American Legion 387 in New Llano Louisiana from 1pm-4pm.
