Michael (Mike) Lee Love of Shreveport, Louisiana moved to heaven on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born in Shreveport on June 7, 1953, to the late Lee M. Love and Sidney Coen Love. He is survived by his sister, Carol L. Jones and his younger brother, Marc C. Love, his niece Melissa Nesbitt and nephew Dustin Jones and their families, a lifetime of friends and extended church family.

Mike was a graduate of Christ for the Nations. He was well known for his knowledge of the Bible and his love for the church, Christian Center of Shreveport. He loved people and "left his mark" on many. Mike was the family member that held the family history in his head. We will all miss having him as a ready reference at any given moment on family details as well as just about any topic you would choose. One of his favorite activities was getting together and doing a good puzzle. His heart was for seeing the future generations walking in relationship with the Lord.

Mike's homegoing celebration will be a graveside service at 9am at Forest Park East Cemetery followed by a meal for family and friends at Christian Center of Shreveport, 207 Idema Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.
