Michael "Mickey" Henry Hodge was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on November 19, 1943 to

Thomas Henry "T.H." and Juanita Robinson Hodge. He was a resident of Haughton, Louisiana

and died in Minden, Louisiana on February 27, 2023.

Mickey was a life long diesel mechanic that took him from Oklahoma to Texas and then

eventually owning his own shop in Louisiana for many years. He enjoyed outside activities

including fishing, riding motorcycles and playing with his dogs.

Mickey had four children, Gayla Michelle Kellogg, Valerie Dawn deVries (John), Brandon

Michael Hodge (Megahn) and Scotty Lee Hodge and when he married Sherry, became the

proud father of Jennifer Thornhill (Gregg) and Samantha Brown. He also had many

grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sherry M. Hodge, his sister Patsy Farris (Ed), and

brothers Paul Hodge (Melanie) and Bobby Hodge (Vicki).

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents T.H. and Juanita Hodge and his daughter Gayla.

A private burial will be conducted in Oklahoma at a later date.
