Michael Terrell Brownfield, 67, of Shreveport, Louisiana died on February 9, 2025. He was born in Shreveport, LA, December 10, 1957, to Betty and Gene Brownfield.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lois Smith Brownfield, and his father, Buford Gene Brownfield. Michael is survived by his siblings Beverly Huddleston, Carol Marler and husband, Scott, Brent Brownfield and Chad Brownfield.

As a youth Michael was very active in sports, football, fishing, and hunting. Michael attended Southwood High School and graduated in 1976. He attended Texas A & M until he left in 1979 to help start the family businesses which eventually became VIP Uniform Services in Ruston, Louisiana. He continued working with the other members of his family until 2004.

As an adult his love of fishing became the passion of fly fishing with most of his vacations being planned around places to fly fish.

Mike was very gifted and skilled at auto repair, plumbing, electrical, brickwork and appliances repair. You name it he could fix it and he was always willing to help family and others with repairs.

There will be a Visitation on Monday, February 17 at 10:00-11:00.

A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00. The visitation and the memorial service will be held at Aulds Funeral Home at 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71115.
