Michael Brooks, age 50, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2023. He was born on April 2, 1973, in Colorado Springs, CO to Mark Anthony Brooks and Darlene Puckett Brooks. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. Michael was a very protective family man, who loved his family hard. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Michael was preceded in death by Nanny (Doris Puckett) and Papa (James Puckett); Grandma Billie.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Brittany Kraft Brooks; children, Katelyn Brooks, Brandon Brooks, Devin Brooks, Jake Brooks, Brody Brooks, Mayah Kraft, Michaela Brooks, Michael Brooks, Jr., Remy Parrish, Glory Parrish; mother Darlene Jutze and husband Mike; siblings, Shane Brooks and wife Jennifer, Julie Shumaker-Mathews and husband Keith, Destiny Jutze and husband Aaron; grandkids, Brooklyn Mathews, Coh en Mathews, Paisley Mathews, Madelyn Brooks, Aidyn Brooks, and two more on the way. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 17, 2023, from 5-7pm at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport. A graveside will be held at 11am Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Shreveport.
