IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Lee
Bledsoe
January 24, 1964 – March 25, 2021
Micheal Lee Bledsoe was born January 24,1964 in Centreville, Illinois. After his courageous fight, Micheal passed away at home on March 25, 2021 with his loving wife by his side. He grew up in Kentucky, where his three children still call home. His 6 grandchildren will surely miss their PePaw.
Michael worked 16 years for Marquette Transportation, a tug boat company. In December of 1999, He moved to Bossier City for his new job as safety coordinator for Gilbane Building Company working at the General Motors Plant. This is also when he met his wife of over 20 years, Kathy Lee. They transferred to Galveston,Tx in 2003 where he was a Superintendent for several large projects including Moody Gardens, M.D. Anderson, and Dekany High School. Micheal's dream to retire on Lake Bistineau became reality in 2015. Some of Micheal's favorite hobbies were to fish, cruise the lake, listen to music and cheer on the Saints! He loved to travel anywhere there was water. That's why cruising became a favorite way for Kathy and him to travel. They took many different cruises, but Alaska was their favorite experience. Kathy is so glad to know that Michael has gone to meet Willbe, his best fur-friend, at the Rainbow Bridge where they will play while waiting on his other loves, Prissy and McGee, to join them.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at West Lake Baptist Church 2587 LA-163, Doyline, LA 71023.
