Melvin Kim Niette  of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on July 16, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1957.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Kimberly Niette Barthelmess and Robin Elain Niette; sister Chryste Allums; brothers Danny Allums, Dallas Niette Jr., and Jeffrey Niette; grandchildren Jim Barthelmess Jr., Lance Barthelmess, Kaleb Barthelmess, Karalyn Niette, and Charlie J. Barthelmess; great grandchildren Quincy Barthelmess, Jonah Dovan, Levi C. Barthelmess; also surviving are his dearly loved nephews Jonathan Allums, Jack Allums, Ian Allums, and Nicholas Allums.
